June 13, 2019: Butterfly Block for charity quilts

Please bring pairs of coordinating 5" squares for the wings.  It will be best if the background of the wing fabric is not white or light--we need contrast with the white background of the block.  Fabric for the white background and black for bodies will be provided.  Some 5" squares will be available as well.

2019 Block of the month

Each month a pattern will be given for a pieced block to assemble into a sampler quilt.  You may use the colors suggested, or choose your own colors.  The original pattern has you make two blocks each month, switching out one of the colors in one of the blocks.

Thanks to Margaret Bogle of   Quilt Connection Quilt Shopfor allowing the use of the pattern.
