​​October 12, 2017: Three small Fall projects will be presented:

1. Workshop taught by Carla:  Hexagonal Place Mats

This is for 4 place mats

  • 1/4 yd each of 6 assorted seasonal prints

  • 1 1/2 yds coordinating print for backing and binding
  • 4 (18x20) rectangles of quilt batting

September 28, 2017:  Workshop taught by Rebecca:  Quartered Stripes

1 1/4 yards striped fabric (be sure to press), 
sewing machine and basic sewing supplies;
​Patience and be ready to have fun!

We will be making items at our sit-and-sew meetings on May 25, June 22, and July 27 for our booth at Quilts in the Boro.

In 2017 The Quilting Bees have decided to donate quilts to the following groups:

 Red Bird Mission

  • Quilts needed for children ages 4-7
  • Lap size to Twin size in children's fabrics

 Camelot Foster Care

  • Quilts needed for children from infant to age 18. 
  • Crib size to Twin size are suggested in appropriate fabrics for the age

 Bags of Love:

  • Quilts needed for children removed from their homes due to unsafe conditions.
  • Lap to Twin size
